Subaru Outback (BR): Airflow control buttons
Each airflow control button activates the following air outlets.
: Instrument panel outlets
: Instrument panel outlets and foot
outlets
: Foot outlets, both side outlets of
the instrument panel and some through windshield defroster outlets (A small amount
of air flows to the windshield and both side windows to prevent fogging.)
: Windshield defroster outlets, foot
outlets and both side outlets of the instrument panel
: Windshield defroster outlets and
both side outlets of the instrument panel
NOTE
When the “” button or “”
button is pressed the air conditioner compressor automatically operates to quickly
defog the windshield. However the indicator on the air conditioner button will not
illuminate. At the same time, the air inlet selection is automatically set to “outside
air” mode.

Press the air conditioner button while the fan is in operation to turn on the
air conditioner. The indicator light will illuminate.
ON position (recirculation): Interior air is recirculated inside the vehicle.

Total trailer weight
The total trailer weight (trailer weight plus its cargo load) must never exceed
the maximum weight.

A: REMOVAL
1. SEDAN MODEL
1) Remove the rear seat cushion.
Pull up the seat cushion and release the hook.
CAUTION:
If the hook is removed from vehicle body, replace the hook with the new part to
avoid the deterioration
of seat securing.
