The driver’s seatbelt has an Emergency Locking Retractor (ELR).
The emergency locking retractor allows normal body movement but the retractor locks automatically during a sudden stop, impact or if you pull the belt very quickly out of the retractor.

NOTE
If your seatbelt warning device does not operate as described in the following,
it may be out of order. Have the device inspected and, if necessary, repaired by
the nearest SUBARU dealer.

Operation
If the driver and/or front passenger have/ has not yet fastened the seatbelt(s)
when the ignition switch is turned to the “ON” position, the seatbelt warning light(s)
will flash for 6 seconds,

The sum of four tires’ maximum load ratings must exceed the maximum loaded vehicle
weight (“GVWR”). In addition, sum of the maximum load ratings of two front tires
and of two rear tires must exceed each axle’s maximum loaded capacity (“GAWR”).

off the ground while the rear wheels are on the ground, or with the rear wheels
raised off the ground while the front wheels are on the ground. This will cause
